Creating Your Personal Meditation Routine

Starting a new meditation routine is an effective way to create calm and reduce stress. Whether you're wanting to try somthing new or looking for more structure, understanding the beneftis of a regular meditation routine will help you stick to it.

Regular meditation lowers the stress hormone, cortisol, helping improve focus, emotional health, and can also promote better sleeping habits.

Start by picking a time and place to meditate, like early mornings or late evenings, in a quiet spot in your bedroom or even in your garden.

If you're just beginning, start with 10 minutes then gradually increase to 30 minutes and longer as you get more comfortable.

Set an intention for each session. Be as specific as you’d like. Select an intention that is your main focus for each meditation session. It can be anything from looking forward to a calm day or manifesting something like a new home.

Consistency is crucial. Try to treat your meditation sessions like an important appointment. Set reminders, and stay committed.

Keep a journal to track your progress and reflect on your experiences. Note how you felt before and after. You may start to notice changes in your mood and stress levels over time.

Be patient, keep with it, and enjoy the journey.
