What to Expect

Listeners have reported a broad range of experiences in four different areas: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Keep in mind that we are all unique and will react differently. If none of these things are happening for you it doesn’t mean you are doing it wrong or something is off. You may also have things that occur that aren’t listed and whatever it is, it very likely does still fall within normal range.

PART 1 - PHYSICAL SENSATIONS

Physical body sensations are quite common with those who listen to Sacred Acoustics recordings and these can be tingling or hot and cold sensations that come and go or a buzzing type of vibration. You can also feel pain, perhaps discomfort in different parts of the body.

The tones activate different parts of your energy body and your physical body starts to notice when you get into these very profound states. Pay attention to where these different vibrations or different types of sensations are taking place.

Sometimes people are able to match a consistent feeling, perhaps when their hands get hot, to be a signal that they’re in a certain type of awareness. Others find that these different kinds of vibrations or physical sensations come and go with no reason, no explanation at all.

Imagine that they are just activating energy that’s already in your body. Some would consider that when it gets triggered like that, when you can notice it as a vibration or a tingling, that it’s releasing that energy.

You don’t necessarily have to know what that is but some people will actually with their minds ask their body “what is that sensation I am feeling?” “what does that mean?” and sometimes they’ll get an answer.

Any type of physical sensation is usually quite normal. Sometimes very extreme vibrations felt in your body can be an indicator of an out of body experience and that is a whole other topic that if you are interested in you should do a little research on.

PART 2 - MENTAL ACTIVITY

In the mental category of experience what we are talking about here are things that occur outside of the constant mind chatter. Mental experiences are more associated with creative inspiration or messages from guidance or perhaps you’re a very visual person and you can see symbols or scenes going on in your mind.

These types of things are very common. Sometimes people will see color in their mind’s eye. These mental experiences can be very useful and we recommend that you keep a journal and jot down any of these mental images, any of these mental thoughts that you have at the end of your listening experience.

It can be very useful to try and interpret or analyze anything that you might be concerned about. However, while you’re listening, we encourage you to just sort of allow them to happen. Don’t try to analyze in the moment, that can be very distracting from any goal that you have in that moment.

Try to remember what those things are at the end of your listening session and jot them down. Over time you will find that they might give you patterns of experience. You also might find that you have incredibly profound insights in those moments and other types of things that often occur in that mental space.

PART 3 - EMOTIONAL RESPONSES

Our listeners are sometimes surprised when they find themselves having an unexpected emotion while listening to Sacred Acoustics recordings. These emotions can run the gamut from anxiety or discomfort or fear all the way to oneness and love and connection. Any of these emotions that occur are very useful.

Those more negative emotions like anxiety, if that’s occurring while you are listening, think of it as an activation of an emotion that has been stored in your energetic system and those vibrations are bringing attention to it. Like the mental things, you don’t want to try to analyze it in the moment.

If it is an emotion like anxiety or fear, or perhaps you just might just be crying unexpectedly, allow yourself to feel whatever feeling comes up. If you try to push it aside or try to avoid it, very likely it will just get stored back into your energy system for another day when you trigger it again.

Allow yourself to feel whatever feelings come up. What can happen is they can evolve and change into other types of feelings. If you can let yourself just feel that progression it can be very useful and considered a very powerful release of emotion whether you know what it means or not.

On the other end of the spectrum, some people report being able to connect with that love and oneness and they’ll have an overwhelming feeling of that connection; that’s another beautiful thing that can happen, very often will happen unexpectedly, sometimes after a listening session when you’ve had a big emotional release.

Allow yourself to experience whatever emotion comes up. It can be very useful to develop that inner observer that can watch yourself having these emotions from a neutral state. Keep on practicing and allow those emotions to occur. You will be quite surprised how they evolve over time

PART 4 - SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCES

Another type of experience that can occur is a spiritual experience. This is anything that is related to the spiritual realms. An example of this is contacting the soul of a departed loved one, whether its seeing them in your mind’s eye in the body that they were in when they were alive or maybe it’s a light that you know is them and you have opportunity to interact.

Another type of spiritual experience is potentially contacting a spirit guide. That can come in many forms. That can be something that doesn’t look like a person. It can be any kind of animal or symbol, anything that feels as though you’re getting a spiritual connection with what’s beyond the here and now.

This can happen unexpectedly or it can happen intentionally. We do have a video that discusses intention if that is something you desire. Keep in mind that you can interact with that spiritual realm. For example, you get the symbol of a door, which may be considered a mental experience, allow yourself to imagine going through that door and this could take you to another level of spiritual realm that you may not have realized you could reach.

So, there are many ways to interact with that spiritual realm and keep that in mind as you listen. As always if you have any further questions please feel free to reach out to us at sacredacoustics.com.
