Meditating in the Digital Age

While meditation is a well known concept to most of us, new methods of practicing meditation continue to progress. In our current digital age, this is becoming increasingly so. From Apps to Virtual Reality, enhancing your mindfulness practice is quickly advancing.

The mindfulness industry continues to develop and is expected to keep growing over the coming years. Apps on your phone, or YouTube videos on your computer, access to different meditation methods is available at the quick tap of a button. Making meditation more convenient and accessible.

You can now also immerse yourself into relaxing enviornments and guided meditation using Virtual Reality. Slip on those headsets and find yourself exploring new worlds within your consciousness. Studies have found this method can also help alleviate depression and anxiety symptoms.

We may want to consider being more open to the idea of digital advancements. Technology combined with compassion and wisdom could offer essential guidance and healing to the world.
