By now, we all know the many benefits meditation has on our mind and body. Such as improved focus, reduced stress, and stronger immunity. But what about the specific benefits when it comes to listening to guided and unguided recordings? Which do you prefer? Have you tried both ways?
Guided meditation can be great for beginners looking for structure. With guided meditation a voice leads your session, offering direction and support while you listen and meditate. However, some may find that a voice chiming into their soundscapes and tones is distracting from their overall goal.
Unguided meditation offers more freedom for where your mind wanders. Some listeners may prefer the flexibility that comes without the distraction of a guided track. If you have a very specific intention or breathing practice, you may enjoy listening without the verbal guidance.
Trying both, or even swtich between the two, and take your journey deeper.
